Ok, got a question:

Is there a correlation between how quickly you are invited to interview and "how much they want you" (chances of getting in)? For instance, if you were able to interview on the first day of interviews, is that a significantly positive sign? Is seeing lots of people getting interviews at a school while you have not recived an invite (even though you are not rejected and are still under review) a bad sign?

your thoughts....

Oh my GOD people...chill or be chilled! Reading too much into timing, etc is going to make you crazy. It doesn't matter how much they want you, it doesn't matter when you get to interview, it doesn't matter if you went extra-long or extra-short on the time...the point is that out of the thousands of applications, they're interested (read the MSAR).

For every story where our neurotic reading into things correlates, someone else has a story about a friend somewhere where the contrary is true--relax, its only NOVEMBER!!!

Don't worry, be happy that you're interviewing and take it all as a good sign. Even a rejection can be a good thing because maybe you're just being excluded from a school that wouldn't be a good fit for you anyway!

Breathe, its ok, go to the happy place...

Dude, I'm not stressing... I don't know for sure if I am going to go to med school even if I do get accepted. I just want to be as informed as possible. no big deal...Just curious. But thanks for the Chill Pill...I think we all could use more of that, no matter what.

Wow. This process is so freaking expensive and frustrating... why would you bother going through it if you weren't sure you wanted to go to med school 😕

Oh, and don't forget that a big part of how quickly you recieve an interview depends on when you submitted your application. So don't worry too much. You'll probably hear back from schools soon.

:luck: :luck: :luck:
