I am a caribbean med student and was wondering about if there's a better time to set up interviews. I've heard that it's best to either do them in the beginning (sept/oct) or at the end (around Jan) - In terms of lasting impressions, have you found this to be true? In addition, b/c i'm a caribbean grad, I am planning on doing guest electives at institutions that I am interested in during nov and dec and feel like I may be shooting myself in the foot if I take off every week for interviews during sub-I months at places I have applied for. Would it be better to sit still during those months and wait until jan for all my interviews?
