I have an interview scheduled Oct for a school I would not attend over an acceptance to some of the other school's I have interviewed at. If I get an acceptance on Oct , would notifying them on the be too short notice for an Oct interview?

It's better than showing up with no intention of attending.

Last cycle we had someone withdraw the day before their interview (they got a full scholarship at their first choice). Our office reached out to a local applicant to see if they were free the next day. They were offered an II then and there (this applicant is now a current student).

So, if you are certain that you would not attend this school under any circumstances over the acceptances you have, then withdraw. Schools understand and would appreciate the heads up.
