I went home to check the mail yesterday and in the mailbox was a letter from X school. I figured maybe they sent me a rejection because I never turned in their secondary. I open the letter, and lo and behold, they want me to come for an interview. I checked in my files, and there was the secondary. SO I'm actually going to go to the school, and hopefully they will never ask for my secondary money.

Hey Jalbrekt, the same thing happened to me at a different school... only they still want me to submit the secondary, go figure.

Anyways, congrats, you obviously impressed them enough to warrant stepping outside of the "traditional" application procedure to offer you an interview!

Hey Jalbrekt-

I noticed you added Temple to the interview list. If that is indeed the school, my friend (now an MS-1 there) was in the same situation last year. Following her interview (within a week I believe), the admissions office asked her to fax in her secondary and send a check so that they could proceed with her application. So, I'd be careful if you accept the interview, you may be asked to send in $$ later!

Good luck-
DK

Yeah, I got one of those too. The ADCOM will still want to look at your secondary in all probability, and of course they want the money. But then again, isn't it much easier to send the money when you ALREADY have the interview?

ooh Jalbrekt's famous X school. i'm so intrigued. tell us the school brother, it's not a secret... 😉

School X is Temple. I'm not really sure why I made it school X. Oh Well.
