If you were asked, “Tell me about yourself,” how much time is good or sufficient before you start to just babble and become boring? A minute? Two?
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to practice for interviews? I mean, other than the typical ‘know about the school,’ etc.
All my jobs and leadership positions were offered to me so I don’t really have a formal interview experience. Help!

See if someone (ideally someone who has sat on admissions boards before) will agree to conduct a mock interview with you. They can give you feedback and help highlight weak points

"Tell me about yourself" should ideally highlight a few things you would want to talk about in the interview. You can say anything, but it's really your chance to set the tone and nudge the conversation in the direction you want. It's not so much something that is "scored" or that will make or break your interview. I think if you look at it that way it should come naturally what you want to say / communicate. I have prepared roughly 1 1/2 minutes of "content", which can be shortened depending on the situation.
