What is the proper dress code for guys at the interviews. Going on my first interview and am trying to decide what to wear.
Thanks
Joe

What is the proper dress code for a girl?
Is a beige suit not professional since everyone wears black?
What about a black and white striped suit?

to Rangerjoe:

When in doubt, dress conservatively. Go with a business suit made of light silk, preferably tailored. Avoid wool-- You don't want the interviewer to see you sweat.

If that "Ranger" in your handle has anything to do with the 75th Rgt, then you might want to show up in regulation Class-A's with all your fruit salad and polished brass. THAT would impress. :D

to Beagle:

Beige suits for women (like this one) can definitely look professional if you ask me!

Now a black and white striped suit I'm not sure about... I thought only two kinds of people wear black and white striped suits and both happen to work on chain gangs (convicts and football referees).
