Look at the the interview feed back page on this site for questions. Where are you interviewing, I have been to 7 of the 9 and might give more info. As for what to wear, a nice suit, dress shirt and Tie. Dress shoes with dress socks, belt should match the shoes. Go easy on jewlery and would not recommend any cologne or perfume. Clothes and hair should be conservative. While you do not need the 10K+ Zegna suit, I would try to avoid those stores that advertise 3 suits for $100.

i just PMed u

Just to throw my question in here: Would it be a really bad idea if I wore a cheap suit? It is not that cheap, but in my opinion, it looks quite nice.

As long as "nice" doesn't mean 70s/80s vintage suit, or a weird color (Dumb and Dumber orange or light blue) you should be fine!

I think the one I bought for my interview came out to be $130 before tax at JCPenny's.

That's what color mine was so you'll be fine! Lol

I just went through the interview process, but I only interviewed at Scholl, NYCPM, and KSUCPM (to save lots of money!). If you are planning on going to interviews at those schools I would be glad to give you examples of what they might ask.

You do not need to go Zegna or Hermes, but try to go with something on par with what Macys or JCP would be selling (look to see if there are any steinmarts near you). You do not have to blow a lot of money, but I would advise against going bottom basement, suits are one of those things people can tell right away the quality. Try to find any sales or that, and get it properly fitted (it probably would cost an extra 50-60, but the look it gives is worth it).

Above all just go conservative and look like you belong there, not that you scrapped together some piece of polyester.
I do not go suit shopping often as I just get some when in asia (so cheap for what you get) but you can get a decent suit for $200. Dress shirts and ties are always on sale somewhere.

I know where it is and I don't care if someone asks that they can't find it, but for HOW many people interview at these schools that uses this site I would expect more than one post per year.
I have yet to even come close to thinking about interviews since I still got to take the MCAT and focus on my undergrad, but when the time comes I would expect more help from people who were in the exact same situations we will be in. For how many people freak out about the interviews on here there.

For example, looking at Kent State, Scholl, and Barry's interview page for just the one question: An interesting question they asked you? Barry's page has the second last person to respond to that question was on November 16th, 2011 (2011!!!!) and even just since the beginning of 2009-10 academic year there have been JUST SIX responses to the first question. On Scholl's page for that question there have been just two responses since the beginning of 2011 and just 8 responses since the beginning of the 2009-10 academic year...when I began my Freshmen year as an undergrad! For Kent State there have been JUST two responses since the beginning of 2012 and just 9 since the start of the 2009-10 academic year.

I am not trying to be a complete A-hole here but when you guide us Pre-Pod hopefuls to this interview site I feel as if you are guiding us to a completely outdated source of information. Put us hopefuls in your shoes when you guys were preparing for interviews!

So all I am asking is when you take your interview how about helping some of us out and actually post on that part of the site since you know where it is. The way I look at it is that of the hundreds of SDN pre-podiatry users who have interviewed in the last two yrs only about 15 to 20 of them have posted a single response to that interview discussion thread survey.

To be honest...the questions and interview formats don't really change. That's why nobody updates it...

Well, it would still be good to get more responses from some people. Just that a lot of people go to that site and use it as a helpful guide to do their interview, but then when they take their interview don't help the others.

I am just one of those people who likes to help those who may be lost.

EH.

People just forget about it when they get accepted. It just happens.

I am putting a post in the acceptance thread for ya.

I always wondered if it would ever be a good idea to wear somewhat of a flashy suit.

I.E. an all-white suit or something. It would make you re-memorable, right lol?

Being remembered for all the wrong reasons is never a good thing.
