Interviewees at Loma Linda - proof of observation hours?

Hey guys, did you all have to submit that part of the secondary before being offered an interview? One of the dentists I shadowed wrote a letter of recommendation, isn't that enough proof?

I live like 30 mins from the dentists I shadowed, and I'd rather not go in just for that this week. School's keeping me busy...

Um Yeah Loma Linda wont give you an interview until your secondary is complete, I live 8 hours away from the dentist I shadowed and flew to northern cali for the weekend just to get the proof of observation hours signed by him and see my parents.


SO Id get that done ASAP and overnight it to them.....

what are observation hours? I don't get it....when you apply do they make you go out and foreshadow a dentist?
