Interviewing on the first day vs later days

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Interviewing on the first day vs. interviewing at the end of September doesn't make much of a difference. Interviewing on the first day vs. interviewing in January does, especially with rolling schools, because they are more conservative with their acceptances and you're more likely to get a waitlist position.

it still matters, even if your interview is after 10/15.

Thanks! For rolling schools, would it be better to interview ASAP then?

Hi all. Is there a difference between interviewing the first day vs subsequent weeks? Does it only matter if I interview with them before 10/15?

Not sure why you're asking, but:

If you're looking to schedule a date:

Earliest at your convenience is the best 🙂

If you're wondering if an early interview is a good sign:

It is! But not by much. Just means you had high stats or a good fit. Could totally implode if you don't nail the interview. At the same time, relax.
