I got an interview to UCLA-Harbor, UMaryland, and Dartmouth. Kinda bummed that people seemed to be getting interviews at Emory and I haven't gotten one

how "complete" does your application have to be to get an interview?
 
Each program has different criteria for when they consider an application. I am still missing 1 LOR and have 3 interviews, but everything else is in. Some places say on their website that they won't consider for interviews until they receive dean's letter... which sucks for making travel plans! I've heard Ob is rather score heavy - so they want the transcript and USMLE transcript in.

I applied in the beginning of September/mid-Sept with just my CAF, transcript, USMLE scores got four interviews. I added my PS at the end of Sept and got one more-- no LORs or pics submitted yet. I think tiredmom is right, different schools have different levels of what they consider to be complete, but it may be score driven. At any rate, I think you should submit whatever you have now and add documents as you complete them. It was pure laziness/procrastination on my part not submitting everything but according to ACOG, many of these places interview as little as 30-50 ppl. They might decide that they want you to be one of those people based on whatever you have completed now so I would submit!!!

I sent out my app on Sept. 2, but my app wasn't complete (w/ letters) until the 22nd. Here's what I have so far:

That's 9 out of the 14 I have applied to. Can't wait to see what next week brings!!!
 
My application is not complete yet (all of my letters aren't in) and I have received 4 interviews so far--Bayfront (St. Petersburg), Orlando, Emory, and Wake Forest. Hopefully, once everything is complete, more offers will come in!

Figured I'd join in the fun. Male student on east coast, so far interviews at Hopkins (9/11) , Dartmouth (9/19), and UMDNJ (10/05). Top 1/3 of med school class, strong board scores, not AOA. Excited to do an away month at Brigham in MFM in a few weeks...

Yes, my app was complete (except for the MSPE) and my chair's letter was in.

Got Case University Hospital last Thursday.

Like Hairspray, I'm still waiting for University of Michigan.

Just submitted my Profile, CAF, and personal statement on Saturday (10/7) - no LORs up yet, no USMLE transcript or MSPE. Programs are just starting to download my stuff this morning and I received my first invite!

Anyone getting any offers through post-office mail and not email? The reason I ask is because I'm on two months of away rotations and didn't think about the prospect of getting offers through regular mail!
 
For people who heard from Hopkins and UNC, when did you get your app (CAF, transcripts, LoRs) in and how long did it take for you to hear from them?

Also, anyone heard from: Penn, Pitt, Wake Forest, Northwestern, Brown, UAB, MCV, UVA, Brig + Women's yet?

out of the ones you've listed there, many of which I've applied to, I still haven't heard anything either. I submitted my app on 9/3. I heard from Hopkins on around 9/7 with my usmle, caf, personal statement, photo, and one lor.
My list of interviews as it stands is:

I still haven't heard from UNC, which I have to admit is increasing my rolaids intake. Also I guess people are hearing from Cornell???? I'm going to have to take an Ambien tonight😳

Still waiting patiently for my others, including some on your list. For those of you who have heard from Duke, UNC - when was your app complete? Mine didn't complete until midway through last week. Augh - the stress!
 
i'm in the same boat as some of y'all! getting worried that i haven't heard from hopkins, baylor, duke, wakeforest...gotten alot of the same interviews as alot of y'all but those listed still havn't gotten back to me. on another note, i got an email from pennsylvania hospital a while back saying they were missing a LOR and needed it to review my app, but it's been in like 2weeks now and no response...should i e-mail them?
 
Hey sizzlefizzle...which UMDNJ program did you apply to...New Brunswick, Camden, or Newark? Just curious.
