I'm so excited! I got invitations for interview at Touro and Southern Nevada. Any of you guys know if they admit students on a rolling basis? Any of you went to any of those schools for an interview recently? Mind to share your experience? 🙂

I applied to those schools too. But haven't heard anything yet, though I did apply really late, like in Jan. When did you turn your in. And in which format, ie email, letter did it arrive?

I applied to Touro and they do admit on a rolling basis. They only interview 10 people at a time. You interview as a group of 5 and there are three faculty/practicing pharmacists. They'll reply back to you within a week or two of your interview so you'll find out if you're admitted or not really soon. I didn't apply to Nevada so sorry, can't help you there.

For Touro,I turned in my application in November, and receive a notecard early Jan that stated the status of my application (that it was received and complete...), then I got this invitation just yesterday in the mail. So it took roughly 2 months to receive an invitation for interview. My interview will be early March.
For Nevada, I just turned in my application about 2 weeks ago and got an interview invitation last week. My interview will be mid Feb. They are very quick!
Gosh, I'm starting to get nervous and excited all at once...any one going to any of those interviews? 🙂

USN does use a rolling basis. I applied there 2 years ago and was admitted. The interview was quite intense. There must have been around 80 - 100 students there (mainly from CA) and they take you in one by one in front of a panel of three (one student, one pharmacist and one professor) and they grill you for about 20 minutes. Its very uptight and stressful, everyone was reallly nervous and somber, but we all got through it.

I went to USN a few weeks ago, I had a more optimistic feeling from the interviewers, but they really do grill you to see if you really are compassionate, and if you can work in a team, but I did like the school and it was an overall good experience. According to them, most decisions won't be made until end of march.
My interview for Touro is tommorow, so I guess I can tell you how it goes when I get back. =)
