Still waiting on UTSW!! My application was submitted a long time ago it seems like. When was your application complete and when were you notified of interview?
I was notified about the 3rd week in sept for utsw and I actually just got in!! Woohoooo!! This is my 2nd year applying so it is a huge relief! I submitted my application within the 1st week it opened so it was really early! I really hope you hear something soon!!

Pretty much every interview that I have been on have asked the usual..."Why do you want to be a PT", "Tell me a little about yourself", "Give me an example of a time when you faced a conflict and how did you deal with it?" "Give me an example of a time you faced an ethical situation and how did you handle it?" "What is going on in the world of PT today", "What can you bring to the profession of PT". That is really all I can remember right now!! My advice is to just be yourself! It is hard not to be nervous but just take a deep breath, think about the questions and then answer! The interview will be over before you know it 🙂

deepeetee, Are you from Texas?! What was the deciding factor for you in UTSW? How did you like the program and the area after your interview?
Hi! Yes I am! Born and raised 🙂 Honestly, I have worked with some PTs that are recent graduates from UTSW and they are INCREDIBLE physical therapists! I also like the campus and the staff that I had the opportunity to meet! I realllly like UTMB too though but I am still waiting to hear from them since my interview. What schools are you looking at?

Well I am from Tennessee originally, and went to Michigan State for undergrad. I would like to go somewhere new for PT school. I applied in state of course, but schools in Texas had cheap out of state tuition so I did UTSW, TWU, UTHSC Memphis, UT Chattanooga, Belmont, and I did a few others all over the place!

Well that's awesome!!! Have you had any luck yet? In my opinion, Texas is a wonderful place to live so I bet you'd love it if ya got into one of the schools here :0)

How did yout TTU interview go?? I have an interview at the Odessa campus next week! Any advice or ideas of questions would be so helpful! Also- have you heard back yet??
