If schools choose not to interview you, when do you get the rejection letter(s)? Is it when they "make their final decisions" or just rolling? Like, if a school decides not to interview me now, will they just tell me, or string me along until they feel like sending a letter?

they send you the rejection letter whenever they want. after they review your file and if you have no chance....then they send it to you.

if you arent good enough to get an immediate interview they can just put you on hold for an interview. and at this point they can string you along and offer you an interview later or reject you.

some schools (non-rolling) don't send any rejection letters until they have made all of their decisions, so people who interviewed and got rejected and people who did not even get interviewed get their rejections at the same time.
