Interviews -- weekends or weekdays?

I am trying to finalize my work schedule for next semester, and I needed to know if most schools hold interviews on weekends (or overlapping with weekends, like Fri-Mon) or just random weekdays. My job isn't flexible at all (MCAT instructor for commercial prep course) b/c I only teach 8 classes per semester and everything is strictly scheduled beforehand -- I need to decide now if I want to teach weekday classes (and can leave for interviews on weekends) or weekend classes (and leave for weekday interviews). Any info/advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

it's random. good luck with your schedule, interviews are a pain in the ass for many reasons (this being one of them).

Very few if any schools interview on weekends -- the admissions office staff/secretaries wouldn't be there. The weekdays tend to be pretty random, but it seemed like Mon-Thurs were most common and Fridays were least common.

hi - i wouldn't bank on any school giving interviews on weekeneds. it's very rare. you'll find out soon enough that med schools are there for you to cater to them, regardless of what they say.

I have two interviews already.. One is on Friday.. One is on Tuesday.. the tuesday one is not movable.. only on tuesdays..
