Rediculous question: anyone gotten an invite yet? What is the earliest anyone has heard of someone hearing about interviews? Ok, ok, I'm a little excited, I know!

They will start rolling in mid-Oct at the earliest though many continue to recieve invitations through mid-Jan. This thread from last year should give you a good ballpark date for specific programs: http://forums.studentdoctor.net/showthread.php?t=239509

interviews wont go out until the fall and early winter.

if memory served me right, U Michigan sent out its first wave of interviews in early October even before all the LORs were complete. this was an anomaly. then there was a LONG draught when I thought I'd never hear from another school ever again. most of the interview invites (either positive or negative) were made right before Thanksgiving through Christmas. the schools I did not hear from by Christmas almost all ended up rejecting me.

good luck to all who're applying this year! by the way, it is highly advisable to reserve an interview spot ASAP when invited because they fill up quickly.

only 10 or so programs have given interviews...
70 (or so) still left...

Its not even November 1 and I got my first rejection. University of Kansas. Damn, that stings. They couldnt even humor me, and wait for my MSPE?

Oh well, who wants to be in freakin Kansas anyway.👎 😴 😛
