I know that in the end the best applicants get the seats, but how much do dental schools look at which schools their prospective students come from?
Example - let's say I interview somewhere, and I really liked it. Someone else at my same undergrad school goes and interviews there as well. Turns out each of us decide that it's our first choice. Will one of us get rejected because we're from the same school? I know that most of the schools pride themselves on diversity, and if they accept two students from the same school they'll have one less state to name off in their presentations.
Any thoughts?
