Intro chem TA factored into AMCAS sgpa/cgpa?

I am currently a TA in an intro to chemistry lab. It is counted as chem2525 on my schedule as one credit hour and is essentially a pass or fail class. I was just curious whether anyone knows if AMCAS would calculate this into my overall and science gpa when applying to medical school or not?

A pass/fail class will not be calculated into your AMCAS GPA.

Like gettheleadout said, P/F classes won't count toward GPA. However, I'm not sure what "essentially" pass or fail means. If it gives a grade then it would count.
