Hi all,

I thought I'd take a sec to introduce myself since I'll be voraciously reading various topics; and, hopefully adding some coherent thoughts. LSS, 33y/o father of 3, husband, retired (med) Marine, combat vet, MV-22B stick monkey / Naval Aviator. B.S. in Geology from Ole Miss 3.63 GPA (I know I know, I promise it's not just rocks!). Headed back to school at UAB to knock out some pre-reqs for application to dental school.

Do it up man! I'm starting D school this August. I currently own a professional recording/mixing studio for approx. 8 years. Sadly, I'll be closing down the business once school starts, but I'll be continuing with audio as a hobby. Went back to school in my late 20s to bang out the pre-reqs. I'm in my lower 30s now. First time applying, I received 2 interviews and no acceptances. Retook the DAT and improved drastically. 8 interviews, 5 acceptances! Boom!! Stay focused, crush your pre-reqs and the DAT, write a killer personal statement, shadow/volunteer...good things will come!

I'm an oldie too @ 31 y/o! Air Force Vet, applying to dental school this cycle!
