Hello all. Just wanted to say I enjoy coming here and reading all of your posts on the forum. As a second year medical student wanting to do Anesthesiology, it is nice to visit the fourm and experience a little bit of sarcasm and humor. The job is a great draw for me but as much or more is the personalites and humility seen in Anesthesia. Thank you all for keeping it light while providing some helpful advice for junior medical students such as myself, trying to carve out a successful path to matching into your specialty.

Our specialty is fraught w/ political BS, but the science behind it is amazing & intellectually rewarding. You'll have a blast. Good luck!
