Every client receives a Knowledge membership that is valid for the entire application cycle. Advisor Prep Knowledge is different than prehealth forums currently on the web because all posted content is monitored and peer reviewed by our staff. Evidence-based seems to be a buzz word these days but for us, this is reality. If you see it posted on our Advisor Prep Knowledge forums, then expect it to be high yield and verified information.
2) Multiple Mini Interview Expertise – This is a growing interview format among schools in the United States and was originally pioneered at McMaster University in Canada. Our lead consultant, Dr. Kevyn To was a participant in one of the original pilot MMI circuits back in the early 2000's. He has personally worked with one of the MMI pioneers, Dr. Harold Reiter as a resident in Radiation Oncology. He also served as an admissions MMI Interviewer for the McMaster MD program and has spent years as a clinical skills instructor for McMaster University Medical Students. If you want to rock your MMI, we have your consultant.
3) Application Expertise – Stellar MCAT and GPAs will only get you so far in the admissions process at most top ranked medical schools. We have helped our clients every step of the way in the admissions process. We have an extensive network of over 50 editors/consultants each from a unique school that we are able to choose from to review your application materials. Once this preliminary review has completed, your materials will undergo a master review by Dr. Kevyn To. For example, if you’re applying to Stanford, then your materials will go to our Stanford consultant/editor followed by Dr. To for a master edit.
4) Session Limit Flexibility – We don’t set any strict time limits when you work with us. Your sessions with us are scheduled for a predetermined amount of time but you don’t have to worry about feeling rushed. If you go slightly over your session time limits because you need your questions answered or your interview performance warrants an extra amount of feedback, we will never hurry you out our door. After all, our priority is You.
5) Exclusive Get In Guarantee – We've saved the best for last. We know getting into medical school is not easy and so do our competitors. The majority of them offer no guarantees but will gladly allow you to sign up for services online and take your money right there and then. Our philosophy is different. You never pay for any services up front when you sign up online because we want to ensure we’re a right fit for each other before we take your money.
