I was wondering if anyone has experience working in IDS? There seems to be a lot of openings lately in the LA market and I was curious to see if it’s as exciting and cutting edge as it sounds. Being involved in clinical trials sounds like a lot of great learning but does it sound better than it really is?

Also, how possible would it be to work in IDS for a few years and successfully jump to industry afterwards? Thank you.

From what I have seen:
- lots of readings
- lots of documentation
- cabinets and cabinets of paperwork
- you do meet the participant in the study only to dispense medications.
- lots of protocols to follow
