Iowa defered me

Just got a letter in the mail and now I am really depressed. Iowa has chosen to defer my application at this time.🙁 Anybody else get one?

If you are not a resident, you have to have an extremely high GPA (around 3.9 I think).

I got one too. At least it's not a flat-out rejection. It's kind of a weird status to be in: not interviewed, not waitlisted, not rejected, not looked at. I didn't even get to a secondary app or get DAT's submitted before receiving my letter.
