I feel very happy that I got accepted to both schools.
But I am still so lost on where I should go..
I guess it depends whether I like the city or the suburbs since the tuition seems to be about the same for out of state students.. I heard that they have very saturated amount of pharmacists in Iowa so that working at the hospital is pretty hard..

Any thoughts will be very very appreciated^_^

Ohio State is one of the top 10, maybe top 5 schools in the country, I'd go with them.

Of course if Iowa is way cheaper, go with them.

Either way, good luck.

[EDIT: This post wasn't my doing... please direct any and all replies to WVUPharm2007, who apparently hasn't figured out the "log out" button yet. Oh well 😍 ]

If you go to Iowa, you get to be classmates with SKP!

On second thought, choose Ohio State for the above reason  :meanie:

Both will be great choices. Congrats

depending on how you look at it, being classmates with me is reason enough to choose one over the other 😀

I can't comment on Ohio State...but Iowa City is one cool town both from my little experience and from what I've been told. I can see how there would be a surplus of pharmacists in Iowa City because it seems everyone wants to live there, but I doubt whether the state of Iowa is in a pharmacist surplus. I imagine we are in a shortage like most of the country. From what I've been told - there are plenty of [pharmacist] jobs available. Of course, if your not from Iowa, you probably won't be staying after graduation anyway [i probably won't]...

good luck with you decision - make sure to make some contacts with current students and maybe some faculty/deans at the respective schools for more information...in what area of pharmacy do you want to practice? This could make a big impact in where you would like to study!

take care,
-skp 👍
