Has anyone used/tried Zollinger's Atlas of Surgical Operations for the iPhone? It's 25.99 per volume, and there are four of them. Just wondering if it's worth the investment...
I feel like for that much, you could buy the real thing. Or just subscribe to accesssurgery.com if it has to be portable (Usually I just log in and print what I'm interested in if the case is the next day). Since you're a student, I can't imagine it being worth it to pay up now, so just find out what online stuff is available to the residents and mooch off them.
Since Zollinger is closer to $200 for a new volume, its considerably more expensive than the IPhone app.
But can you really see enough detail in the drawings on the screen to make it worthwhile? Some of those pictures would be chopped and not visible on the screen in toto.
