IR spectrum question

The IR spectrum of Compound 8 (random compound) shows hydroxyl and carbonyl absorptions, respectively, at approximately:

A) 1700 and 2250 cm-1
B) 1700 and 3400 cm-1
C) 3400 and 2250 cm-1
D) 3400 and 1700 cm-1

The answer says B, but I don't see why it wouldn't be D.
