Hi there, with the season of acceptance letters for Irish schools is upon us, I thought that I start a new thread. Please post if you received a decision letter or if you heard anything in these regards from ABP. Thank you.

No word yet, good or bad. I've done some snooping in threads from years past, I believe it'll be at least another two weeks before there is any word.

I agree. I just learned that ABP only received the results for the first semester of grade 12 marks in Alberta late last week, so it might be another month or so before we hear any admission results.

Hi there
I got accepted to RCSI about a week ago for the 6 year program.
I am unsure if I should wait for NUIG/UCD's response or accept this offer before the deadline April 8th 2013. Cost is also a factor as RCSI tuition fees are greater than the other two.
Has anyone else been accepted to any universities?
Any suggestions on what I should do?
Thanks

I know that the first rounds of UCD and NUIG acceptances are alredy out, so if you have not got anything yet, then I do not believe that you'll get anything from UCD or NUIG before the RCSI deadline. May be you want to double check with Atlantic Bridge.

I was in the same situation and I already sent my deposit to RCSI for a very simple reason. RCSI provides the resources to support you during your last year to pass the board exams in Canada and the USA. RCSI also accommodates the residency interview schedules in Canada and the USA, while UCD and NUIG do not do that. I figured that would save me a year or at least I'll go to the residency interviews not worrying about my final exams. Good luck.

Hi there!

I was accepted to UCD's 5yr program and have already accepted the offer as it was my 1st choice.

In your situation, i wouldn't wait much longer than the 3rd or 4th of April since it may take a day or so to process your acceptance of the offer and for your deposit to be transferred.

Cheers.

I agree with MikeGir onthe fact that you might as well accept rcsi since the other universities have already sent out 1st round offers. However, i wouldn't worry about board exam prep for canada/usa since everyone seems to match well... however, there has been higher match rates for UCD than rcsi in the past years for whatever the reason.

At the end of the day, they are all great schools and you can never be wrong one way or another. I'm very thankful to the Lord and gracious that I got in. I agree with mgermans; you need to send in your deposit quick as it would a day at the bank and another 2 days in route. Do not forget to scan it and email it to Atlantic Bridge too along with the other offer acceptance forms,

I got my acceptance letter from UCC for the GEP about two weeks ago. I haven't heard back from UCD yet, but ABP says they sent out their first round of admissions, never know what the second round might bring.
