yeah i don't think so. Just seems like an 'informational session.' Sure it educates you on your school's Medical school, but that isn't really something there YOU are doing something related to helping people, science, medicine, community service, etc.Basically my UG's medical school had an organized event where pre-med students did various things like talk to MS1 students, listen to several doctors and graduate's speeches, they fed us and gave us tours of the campus, and then a Q/A at the end of the day. It was 5 hours long
is this worth putting as an activity, and if so what would I classify it as?
oh, well i'm not saying its community service but there is even a category for "hobbies." I think I'm gunna put it and just put it under "other"yeah i don't think so. agreed.... believe me its better to leave it off than put it on....That sounds like a typical med school interview day, minus the interview. Thats more for your benefit rather than to list on your resume.
If you want to list this as an activity, then you can also list going to the library, or reading MSAR.Basically my UG's medical school had an organized event where pre-med students did various things like talk to MS1 students, listen to several doctors and graduate's speeches, they fed us and gave us tours of the campus, and then a Q/A at the end of the day.
