Hey OP what's your final decision? Have you sent your deposit yet?

I haven't yet. I'm holding out to talk to a few more dentists that I know, but I'm pretty much decided on Minnesota.

Has anyone rolled the dice and turned down their only acceptance, with the hope something else will come up? I'm debating it right now because the only school I've been accepted at is an expensive private school (although I will likely just put down a deposit). I've had 5 interviews so far, accepted at 1 school, waitlisted at 2 schools, and waiting to hear back from the other two (Dec interviews). Every other school is cheaper, ranging from 20-125k cheaper. I also haven't had an interview at my state school yet (which I'm still holding out hope for.) Just curious if anyone else is in a similar situation.

Definitely send emails of intent, an update on what you're doing the last few months. I have a copy if you need it.
