Hi everyone,
I'm a little late in the game with getting LOR's and things together. I'm having some real trouble with this LOR requirement though. Would a letter of rec from a math prof count for the science requirement? I took calculus I, II, and statistics with this guy - he wrote me an amazing letter a year ago, so I know he will do much the same this time around also.
The most difficult thing for me is finding "science" faculty that have taught me, and know me well. Most of the professors I've had in the last year, I really have no clue how to get in contact with them, and some of them are just really busy.
Within the next week or two, I should have some letters:
1 Organic Chem Prof (taught me, excellent LOR)
1 Biochem Prof (taught me, didnt know him well, OK LOR)
1 Inorganic Chem Faculty Advisor/Prof (didn't teach me, supervised a chapter I was president of for 2 yrs, excellent LOR)
1 Organic Chem Research Prof (didn't teach me, pretty good LOR)
1 Math Prof (taught me, excellent LOR)
1 History Prof (taught me, excellent LOR)
1 English Prof (taught me, good-excellent LOR)
Basically, I could use the organic chem and biochem letter, but since I don't think the biochem letter will be THAT great, I thought I might just be better off using the math letter. Or, should I just send all 3 to be on the safe side, using the math one as an additional letter?
I'm getting so damn confused by this whole process.
