Is AACOMAS always so unresponsive?

I have a total of 4 transcripts and all but one of them was noted as received a month ago. After two weeks, I emailed AACOMAS. Nothing. After another week I emailed again. Nothing. On Monday I called their office only to find out about their ridiculous office hours (at least on the west coast), so I left a message. Just now, I called again. The message said that all customer service reps were busy and to stay on the line. About thirty seconds later it starts ringing, rings four times, and then says that AACOMAS is not available, please leave a message. AARRRGGHHH! So, I sent ANOTHER email.

Geez, all I want to know is if I need to have it re-sent...

Is it always this bad?

Lots of complaints this year. Dunno about in the past. Is it that much of a hassle to resend it, to be on the safe side? I'd continue calling if I were you--just hang out on speakerphone.

That's just it, I wasn't even on hold! The message said stay on the line, then 30 sec later it rang 4 times and then told me to leave a message! I was fully prepared to put my feet up and wait through the long haul!
 
What's the worst they can tell you. That they didn't get your transcript or that it was lost. So order another transcript. And then go do something that takes your mind off it.

This is only the first of the deeply frustrating administrative hurdles you'll have to get over this year. The only part you can control with each event is whether you choose to let it frustrate you.

I have emailed them 3 times and also have tried to call. On my apps I have listed an internship for the summer I was supposed to start this month (I was supposed to be gone until the middle of August and thought it best to submit early). Unfortunately my father ended up having to have surgery and I had to choose between leaving him here by himself or taking the internship. I stayed with my dad. I don't know how to remove that from my app or what I should do.
 
Last year they always go back to me within a couple days. Alert and oriented x 3.

I asked them about my transcripts status yesterday through email, and I got a response today. AMCAS & TMDSAS received all my transcripts, but AACOSMAS haven't. Are they always slow and last to update status???
 
They were always unresponsive when I called them last year, but never that bad... maybe to be safe send the transcripts again. Last year they lost one of mine and I had to send it again.
