Is age important factor for acceptance?

No, it is not for most of the universities but dedication is.
The most important is that what you have learned in last 40 years and how are you practising those learned skills.

Hey buddy... i know people of 40 and 50 years comming to the PASS interviews! One 40yr old guy got accepted last year!! Infact the experience, determination and skills you gained over these years could be your plus point. Its just for you to package it in the right way.

I really appreciates your concerns. I had baby this year, so postponed the time to go abroad. After 3 years , my baby will more grow up!! but I'lll be 40 years, I have plan to go abroad to USA with my baby and wife.
Many bad factors - low GPA, money, age, new pattern NBDE from 2012 -are bothering me. I need helps of SDN friends

I'm 32 yrs but never felt like that.
In your case, You have MINIMUM 20 years ahead before you even think of retirement in US. 20 years are more than sufficient to fulfill all your dreams.
I repeatedly tell everyone ... there are 1000 ways to reach DESTINATION.
I have treid to put all them together on STICKY (Interview experiences one). I'll keep posting more links in future. Keep yourself updated with all relevant information and links that I post there. I'm sure it will help many ppl here.
