Don't you get a new AMCAS ID if you re-apply, though? That'd make them different, since AAMC # is what's on your MCAT (if you took it before you filed the app). Not sure though, that's just what I seem to remember.

That might actually be true. It makes sense, but I don't know. Either way, I think when they ask they want your AMCAS because that's the number for you application.

Nope. I used the same exact AMCAS ID when I reapplied. It was great because all of my information was filled already. I just had to update my grades, essays, etc.
