Just wanted to see if anyone else is already starting to get excited about starting this summer?? I just can't wait for all the pre-school stuff (orientation etc...) haha i'm such a dork i know!! 😀

I am super excited and scared sh*tless at the same time 🙄. The day I got my acceptance to my first choice school (which was the 29th) I couldn't sleep and haven't slept much since.

I feel kind of better knowing that other people are getting owned by their thesis too. I just want to finish the darn thing. It feels like a ton of bricks on my shoulders, even though it's a topic that I'm really interested in. But, I am very very excited about dental school!!!! I can't wait! 😀

I totally hate my thesis, its so hard to write when your results sort of work but not really. I just wish it was clear cut as to it either worked completely or was a complete failure. Then it would be easy

The thing is with my thesis is that I have no excuse about results not working out the way they should because I am doing a type of quasi meta-analysis where I am compiling the results of hundreds (possibly thousands by the time I get done) of research studies into one ginormous paper. The good thing about that is that I can work on it pretty much whenever and all the information is out there, I just have to find it. The bad thing is that I have to read hundreds and hundreds of papers. I feel sometimes that for every 10 papers I read, I can only use one of them. It's really grueling and time consuming, but I think it will benefit me in the future, especially since I will be going to a PBL dental school. Ok enough venting...😀

haha..don't bang your head against the wall too hard, you're going to need that for dental school. I'm headed for Harvard. Good luck with your thesis!

Laundry, I am definitely dorky enough to be studying up on head and neck anatomy in my free time this summer. I don't have enough money to travel or do anything cool, so I might as well. 😀

Heck yeah baby!!! I graduated in the fall and that's all I'm doing right now. I bought a sweet clinical anatomy flashcard set at the BYU bookstore and have been studying that like mad. It's got a sweet section on both head and neck anatomy plus head neural connections section as well. I figure I have enough time between now and when school starts to get most of that baby memorized.
