So I'm a DO finishing an AOA internship before a MD PM&R residency. I just got a letter from the AOA asking for money to remain a member. I could probably get my residency to pay for it from an educational fund, but the question is, is there any real benefit? All I could come up with is if I want to teach someday at a DO school, or get DO boarded or something. Otherwise, I'd rather spend the 70 on books.
