Hi everyone!
Since the application is going to open very soon, I'm starting to be concerned with the number of schools I'm applying to. Due to my financial situation, I can't freely apply to as many schools as I want. So I narrowed down my list of schools to about 7 including reach and maybe doable.
Honestly I feel like I can get into at least one school, but since no one can guarantee anything, I just wanted some opinions.

Here's my info:
sgpa: 3.4
ogpa: 3.5
dat ts: 24
dat aa: 23
(all my individual dat scores are above 21)
shadowing: ~100
volunteer: ~80
one leadership position, a few club activities

list: nyu, vcu, bu, temple, columbia, case western, upenn

I'm sorry I'm asking this question with so much detail, but I just want to make sure and hear other people's opnion other than me and my family's. Should I apply to more schools?
Thank you for anything! really! 🙂

Well...Start saving! I believe if you get accepted to NYU or some other schools the deposit is a lot. Most schools is at least a grand!

You may want to add a few if you're nervous. I'm sure you will get a few interviews (which is really all you need) but I do believe in many cases good candidates are overlooked by schools.

I applied to 8 schools last cycle with the following stats:
22/22/19 DAT
sGPA: 3.98
oGPA: 3.93
With similar ECs as you and got 3 interviews out of 8.

which schools did you apply to ultra?

If seven is what you can do right now, then do seven. However, save up some money *just in case.* If the middle of August comes around and you aren't reeling in any invites, you can add a few more schools to apply to.

This is sound advice but I might wait just a little longer than Mid-August to add more schools. I applied 2nd batch last year and didn't get my first interview invite until Mid-September. I ended up getting 6 pre-Dec interviews and 10 in total so don't panic like I was last year if you don't get anything right away!
