I attended 5 undergrad institutions before obtaining a B.A., and have attended 2 schools for post-bac? Do adcoms frown upon applicants with an excessive number of schools attended? Or am I asking a pointless question? I attended all of these schools (on and off) over a period of 11 years, and all of them have been 4 year schools.

I think it depends on your academic record and why there are a lot of schools listed on your application. If there are a lot of schools because of poor grades, dropping out, and not finishing, then that is a problem. It could be a bonus if you show that you are a strong student no matter where you take classes, as long as you can explain, say if asked during an interview, why you have attended many schools.

I'm not too far behind. I have my UGrad school. I took one summer class at a diff uni (it was cheaper). I have masters classes at another uni. My post-bacc is starting at a college and will end at a uni.

I'm more worried about what they'll think of transcripts in three different last names 🙁 Men are lucky this way, because my three different last names looks a lot worse than my one divorce.

Four undergrad institutions (2 were summer only). Two grad schools (completed both). One post-bac. God I hope they don't frown upon it.

I've attended 4 different colleges. An engineering college in Colorado that I attended until I became pregnant, a community college to get liberal arts classes out of the way, the state college I attended for both of my bachelors and masters, and then a different community college where I took a few Biology courses while I was taking my master's courses. I just think it depends on who interviews you if they care or not. I do think at 2 of my interviews, they had an issue with so many schools bc they mentioned it. At the other 4, they had no issue with it. I think it just depends on the background of your interviewer and if they can relate to you if you ask me.
