Hi everyone. I took a Kaplan course (my parents insisted) and when I went to take the Aug MCAT, I did not feel prepared. This is mainly due to the fact that I hadn't taken any undergraduate physics aside from a conceptual class in high school so I had to teach myself from scratch. I succeeded but I lost a lot of time and I only had enough time to do 2 practice tests, were I got a 9 on Verbal, 9 in Biology, 8 in PS (and they were more borderline than anything). I did pretty well on the physics but in the process forget a lot of the chem, and there just wasn't enough time. So I ended up voiding.

This was after highlighting and reading the Kaplan books thoroughly and doing a ton of their online quizzes/tests. I also read Princ. Review chemistry and physics as well, and Nova's Physics.

So we got berkeley review and I want to do the sn2ed method (or just straight read/do passages) but I'm taking a full load this semester and next semester. And the berkeley review isn't really a "review", more like textbooks. So I am afraid by the time I get through all of it I will forget details.

Did anyone use Berkeley Review alone to score well? I am not stupid but I really would just like to crack a 28 or above on this test.

If you have the time, MOST people say TBR is the best. good luck ...when I start studying, I'm using TBR for everything except bio

I used BR for everything except verbal and it worked out great. Bio was a bit detail heavy, but I appreciated having the in depth coverage of the material. Best of luck!
