I struggle with Math. I was going to major in Chemistry or Biology, but they both require Calculus. I don't want to drop my BCMP GPA. I got a B in Algebra, C- in Pre-Calc (retake A-) and a C in Finite Math. I know this will hurt my science GPA, so I don't want to take anymore math classes, although I might take Statistics. Do I really need Calculus? Should I at least take the 2nd part of Pre-Calc?

It's not necessary but some schools might like it. The main thing is that you understand math for physics, stats, and chemistry.

You need it if your major requires it.

Some schools really like it And I believe some schools still require it (but that number is dwindling).
Statistics is not only really useful for med school, it's also gaining popularity among schools as a requirement or strong recommendation.
