I'm looking to take COMLEX step III within the next 2 months, get it out of the way and hopefully set myself up to moonlight as soon as PGY2 hits. So my question is, is COMLEX step 3 offered year round? I went to the website and it appears you cannot access the testing schedule until you register (and pay for) the exam. Since money is tight right now, I don't want to drop $700 now if I can't take the test for a few months. Thanks in advance for the help.

Generally only about 1-2 days a month are reserved for COMLEX Level 3, so book early!

I signed up for a Nov. spot a couple weeks ago, so its possible. I think there were earlier ones, but that was the time I was looking for.
Also, doesn't your program pay for it? Yeah you probably will have to pay for it up front, but I got my money from my hospital with my check a couple weeks after.
Edit- shoulda checked the link above. Didn't know they had a fixed schedule like that, just thought it was up to the center.
