Are crack DAT science and math tests worth the money?

i found that crack science had a lot of really hard questions and details, things that i wouldn't think would be on the dat. it was material that wasn't even covered in the kaplan BB for the orgo at all, reagents that I didn't even know existed lol

YEa! i quit CDS after the first test... hahahha way too detail...baby can't have food because it lacks what enzyme.....? WTF?!!

SERIOUSLY !!!!!!!!!!!! i just took the first exam and got 15 13 13 for bio g and o chem........... mind you ive taken the real thing twice already and never scored under 18 for any of those sections........ questions are EL O EL !!!!!!! baby enzyme question was funny indeed.

The science was not good. I used the math for a large portion of my math studying, and ended up getting a 19(on math, not great but good enough.haha) on the real DAT.

SOOOOO glad i found this thread, I've taken the DAT once and I am preparing to take it again, I've been doing well on KAPLAN practice tests, then I took the CRACK DAT SCIENCE and got 16 13 13 , felt like weeping haha. I also saw many reagents I had never heard of

MATH == Worth it! There are video explanations and you are able to adjust the time you have to take the test. This helps with speed which is essential on the DAT. Check out my dat breakdown under Math to see how I utilized crackdatmath...

Science= Like everyone says...Science is detailed and more difficult. Could it help? Possibly 😉 I would say it is ok but nothing great. Just don't get discouraged by it 🙂

That goes for me too...similar scores in the RC: 15, NS: 13 - up to now with KBB I felt I had a little work to get my scores above 20. Now, Crack DAT Science really got me worried. Yes, as already stated, there are lots of detail questions and chemistry I havn't seen in school nor in Chad's Videos. But decent explanations for most questions; but some are just poorly written. I've spent all day just reviewing the test details...

The good thing is the computerized testing, I feel it really keeps me in the test mode, with the clock in the corner, computer lock out, etc. I think I'll jump onto DAT Destroyer and Top Score for qualitative study, and keep the Crack DAT suite for practice.

try Chad's videos for the chemistries. they are very reasonably priced and his videos point out exactly what you need to know for the DATs. I did them, and read up the Kaplan Blue Book and Cliff's notes for Biology and was able to get a 21 as my TS.

Crack DAT is stupidly hard. i'd buy it for the simulation of the test, but know that your self esteem is gonna be shot down after any of the science tests. the math section was probably the most similar to the actual test, in my opinion. i liked DAT bootcamp for science practice and PAT

You see I am getting around the same score on that!! And it is suffocating me and my confidence. But yet how did you do on the DAT?

Crack DAT Science is not worth it. So many other better sources to spend your money on! Honestly Crack the DAT is the last source you should put money into! Go with Destryoer, Bootcamp, Genius and DAT Q Vault, TopScore and Acheiver. If I i still wanted to get smth, I'd probably get Gold Standard DAT! Those books look amazing and I bet their Science is better than Crack DAT Science
