I would have liked to go through it another time, but I have exactly one week to go and I've only gone through Destroyer once so I'm planning on using this week to go over it again. Is this a good idea? Or is it too close to the date

My exams also in exactly 1 week, Ive been through destroyer ochem twice and am starting gchem for the second time. I plan on going through these 1 more time before my exam, its great review, so you should be good.

Twice is enough. After that, you aren't learning anything rather than just memorizing how to do those specific questions.

It depends on how much of the concepts you absorb. Some will go thru Destroyer twice and score 25's while others will score 20.

I technically went thru destoryer 4 times.

twice last year, twice again this year.

If you worry about memorizing the problem. after completing it. put it away for like a 1 week or something. use other practice materials, then come back to it. start with a blank notebook or something so you can't look at your old work.

at the very least I suggest you should spend time just reviewing the problems that you worked out. know how what you did and why you did even if you don't want/have time to re-do them completely.

like for ochem there are plenty of multi-step synthesis problem, you should go over each step and know understand what the reagent used is doing.

I think I ended up going through 2.5 times. I was shooting for three but didn't make it before my test date.

Herk do you mind if I ask what you scored on GC & OC?

I'm about to review Destroyer for the second time...I would suggest to highlight/mark the questions that you still get wrong during your second round and review those specific questions again later.
