Is having 2 interviews at this point in the game a good thing?

I have been complete with every school since late July. So far I have been asked for interviews at 2 schools. Am I justified for feeling a bit behind everyone else on here or is it just paranoia?

Why don't you ask all the people who have NONE right now?

2 is better than probably 80-90% of the applicants at this point.

You're doing great! Acceptances haven't even gone out yet so schools have the "greatest" number of seats available right now.

If you're getting interviews you're up to snuff. Assuming you do your best and each has a 30% acceptance rate you have a 49% chance of NOT being a medical student right now. Look at it that way.

My first round of MD apps I did not have three until January.

However it is way way too early to even consider invite season over. Its got another 8 weeks

Another 8 weeks takes us to Thanksgiving but some invites go out through the end of the year and even, rarely, in the new year so it's not over until by a long shot.
