Is it all the schools that has the policy that you can't use a prereq from 5 years ago or just some?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Also, how does the time range work? Must you have taken the prereq within the 5 year period before you apply or before you start pharmacy school? For example, if I took Gen Chem 1 summer 2012 and I want to apply summer 2017(which is 5 years apart), they won't accept it?

In curious to know as well for other pharmacy schools which might differ. I know in undergrad they will/attempt to contain your transcript on file. I go to a state school and they just need to know if you have completed your pre-regs regardless of time-frame. Would be foolish of them to make someone retake 2 years of classes.

The Medical College at my school which caters hugely to diversity doesn't even require pre-regs officially. They assess you based on your MCATs/GPA and advise you to major in biological science degrees to prep you for the exam. Which I thought was neat.
