I was worried about this in general and it just showed up as a specific question in a secondary...will they look at me any differently?

In school i just focused on studies and over breaks I typically spent with family at home or visiting family in Spain (we go every summer) and honestly the other free time I would have I spent doing research or taking a summer class.
