Is it better to improve my science GPA or pick up a minor and raise my overall?

My science GPA is currently a 3.2. My overall is about a 3.0. I have one more semester of class and 6 credits to graduate, undergrad so I was wondering. Do I obtain a minor (it would be in English) and not have any room for any other science courses or is it better to simply take a few more science classes and some other gen eds and forget the minor?

I guess what I'm asking is, is getting a minor and raising my overall GPA worth it's weight in losing out on taking raising my science GPA in the eyes of med schools (Pennsylvania, specifically).

Thanks.

No. Nobody cares that you got a minor. With your stats you're probably applying DO, so retake some classes you did poorly in. If you're applying MD, well, good luck.......

Just take more science classes. It raises your overall GPA and science GPA.

What? You do know it doesn't have to either, or? Take some upper-level science courses and, assuming you do well in them, it will raise both... Problem solved.
