Does anyone else feel like this cycle is slow?
I sent applications to 36 schools and am currently sitting on 0 IIs, but only 2-3 rejections. I was complete at schools any time ranging from 8/15 to 9/30. I am the first from my family to apply so I don't really have anyone to turn to for advice but is this odd? Expected? Others feel the same? Anyone in the same boat?

It can largely depend on your stats and the schools you applied to. You're not an early applicant, so the wait is going to be longer for you. Even longer if you're an average/below average applicant. FWIW, when I applied 2 years ago (complete mostly in September) I got 10 total II's, the majority of which were received in November or later for interviews in December or later. My last interview was in February.

Just be patient.

I completed my secondaries mid October so I'm in a similar situation. Nothing that we can really do other than to hang tight and hope for the best.

Not complete that late actually. The September ones ya, pushing it. August is cool. I was complete everywhere in august and got 4 interviews from applying to ~8 schools.

I feel like August is not late at all. I sent my primary in on June 22nd, 12 days after it opened, and I was complete at schools in early August. I too have just had one interview and just two rejections. All the other schools are silent.

This cycle couldn't have been faster for me. I applied day 1, got secondaries back the day they were sent back to me, and have heard from all the schools I applied to.

I think the above toasters posters are right -- it all has to do with when you applied.
