Most of the surgical sub-specialties do better than us: ortho, ENT, uro, neurosurgery for sure.
Even some the IM subs like GI and interventional cards/EP are more lucrative.

House husband who is willing and able to be Mr. Mom would be a better choice. It just seems that the divorce rates for female anesthesiologists who work full time non mommy track jobs seems to be higher than male anesthesiologists.

I, for one, applaud your choice in a sensible vehicle that should easily give you 200-300k worry-free miles with regular and inexpensive maintenance. You've also alleviated yourself from nonsensical stress over things like parking lot scratches and potholes. A car is a commodity meant to get you places and a Toyota is the ultimate commodity.

Yes, and store-brand bulk packaged spaghetti sauce and bow-tie pasta are the ultimate commodities for infusing one's body with sufficient calories to move one's mass to and from places the Toyota won't go.
And while surplus Soviet Russia era toilet paper (certified to be made from wood pulp with under 10% splinters) may be the ultimate commodity for handling the eventual product of that ingestion, that might be taking this a little bit too far.

Ever seen a straight male driving one??
A friend of mine and his wife took a year-long sabbatical driving across the country, climbing, biking, and hiking in dozens of states, living out of a Jetta wagon the whole time.
It's one of the coolest things I've ever seen anyone do.
Can't be hot if not a latina...
