Hello everyone, I plan on applying to dental school this upcoming cycle! The main problem is that i am in physics 1 and lab right now and plan on taking physics 2 with lab during the next fall semester of my senior year which will be past the time i apply to dental schools. A side note, i really would prefer not to take a gap year. Will my application still be looked at and taken seriously if i do not have that one class (physics 2) done? I was given bad advice from an advisor saying that physics was not totally necessary to take right away but the advisor was mistaken and thought i meant in terms of the dat since physics is not on that. So just because of that i started physics a semester too late. Ik a lot of school websites say you must have them done by application but after talking to some schools and talking to others they have said that is okay not to have some pre reqs done such as physics and even orgo lab! Many have said that as long as you complete everything by the time of matriculation in to dental school you should be fine. SO my main question is will i be okay to apply and possibly get in without completing physics 2??? Also is there a place on the application where you can say when you plan on taking physics 2 (or any other incomplete pre req)? If this helps at all my gpa is 3.67 overall with 3.73 science and a 21AA, 21 TS, and 23 PAT. Also have shadowing, plan on getting an assistant job this summer before applying, currently and orgo TA at my university, and a president of a non serious club. Also with my stats what schools do you think i have a shot at on the north east coast?
