Is it not wise to do Kaplan Qbank toward last couple of weeks of exam day? The problem is I started UW early and exhausted its questions. One word answers welcome. 😕

Thanks

I'm doing as many questions as I can get my hands on. UWorld is my go-to source, however, and just because you've done it once doesn't mean you can't do it again.

Whether or not you remember the answer to a question is irrelevant. What matters is do you understand why the answer is what it is, and why the wrong answers are wrong? I have learned more from my second pass through World than I did from my first pass.

So yeah, Kaplan is fine. But just because you've done all the questions in World doesn't mean it doesn't have any use to you anymore.

Yes it is wise to do it, definitely. But it costs a lot more. If you don't have issues with that, you can definitely start doing it. They also have explanations, plus excerpts from FA, plus some Qtutorials. But just make sure you have understood most of the uworld questions before you take on a new qbank.

You guys make alot of sense. I bought both of them and I will do only the HY questions from kaplan and do UW again.

If you've already done UWorld then Kaplan high yield q's are probably good too for sure although I haven't used it since they added that feature. It definitely isn't going to hurt

One thing I did notice though, between the two banks they each have their own style of questions. After doing UW for awhile you start to develop an instinct where you think above a two orders and think that all questions are tricky. Kaplan doesn't do that. I don't know which is more representative of the actual exam but doing both sure doesn't harm.

Kaplan is okay, I just don't like how they use obscure associations and obscure synonyms for terms compared to UWorld.

What are the "HY Kaplan questions" and how many are there? I'm in a similar situation as the OP.

Kaplan Qbank gives you the option of selecting only HY questions from there bank. I think its around 1000 + questions.

I *hated* Kaplan. I thought their questions were nitpicky and low yield. Of course, n=1.
