I will be graduating from a 4 year university this upcoming May and plan to apply during the 2014 cycle to medical schools. I wanted to take some extra classes such as Anatomy and Physiology I and II during the summer to increase my GPA. Would taking classes as such at a 2yr community college look bad on my med school applications? I would take it at my current university but I live a few hours from there so the commute would be extremely hectic.

Any help/advice will be extremely useful! Thank you in advance

I took 100% pre-med at a CC as a non-trad. No problems at any COM and questions about it never came up.

In reference to the class being online or in person I think it is school specific for pre-reqs. For example NYIT wants it in person.

Does that apply to both lecture and lab classes? The A&P classes I wanted to take have an online lecture but in person lab, so would that still be considered unacceptable?

Does it matter whether the class is online or an in class lecture?
I don't know since all my prerequisite courses were in person. I did take 1 medical terminology class that was online. It didn't show up as so in the transcript, and I was never asked if any course was online.
